Afghan Square of the Month: The first Thursday 9A-11A/5P-7P OR the first Saturday 9A-11A of each month starting Thursday 1/05/06 or Saturday 1/07/06. A total of twelve different design squares will be offered and can be joined to create a full sized afghan. This is a wonderful way to spend your time in the company of other knitters. Participants must know how to do the knit and purl stitch. A one-time purchase of the $10.00 pattern book is required. Sign up will be done on a monthly basis. Cost of each 2 hour class is $10.00.

Every Tuesday (6P-8P): Ongoing workshops to learn how to knit or to advance your skills or to work on a self chosen project with experienced help available. This evening has become a fun social time for knitters of all skill levels. Come join the fun! $10.00 for each 2 hour class.

Every Thursday (9A-11A or 5P-7P): Techniques class. Projects will be offered to teach techniques such as seed stitch, cable stitch, fan and feather patterning, etc. This is also a great way to learn how to knit then felt such items as hats, purses, and tote bags. If you come up the idea, I'll come up with the technique. A trial of "Beginning Crochet" will also be offered. Call for details. $10 for each 2 hour class.

Saturday Classes:

1/14/06 9a-1p	Knitted Cardigan	Lisbet Okun learned to knit as a child in her native country of Denmark and she'll teach this class using her unique style of neck down, one piece knitting. For this class Lisbet will provide individual patterning and sizing. Her display Cardigan at Yarn and Company has received many "WOWS"...come see for yourself! This class will get your project started, then there will be 1-2 follow up classes offered. Suggested skill level is experienced beginner or beyond. Cost is $20.00 for this 4 hour class. No pattern purchase neccessary.
1/21/06 9a-1p	Knitted Edgings	Learn the basics of lace knitting with this easy to master pattern. Can be used to edge pillowcases (makes a breathtaking wedding or shower gift), baskets, jars, or just about anything else you can think of. This will certainly expand and enhance your knitting skills as well as provide a new creative outlet. YES, YOU CAN DO IT. Skill level is experienced beginner and beyond. Pattern included in this $20.00 class.
1/28/06 10-1p	Happy Endings	Follow up your New Year's Resolution in which you promised yourself to complete all those 2005 class projects. Assistance will be available to help you "live happily ever after" or at the very least, "knit happily ever after". This applies only to unfinished projects from Yarn and Company classes. No charge and no frog kissing required.
2/11/06 9a-1p	Felted Hearts	Knit and then felt these cute hearts in time for Valentine's Day. Many embellishments are possible. Pattern included with this $20.00 class.
2//18/06 9a-1p	Knitted Vest	If you're looking for versatility, this vest is for you. With a classic V-neck and a boxy style, it's flattering on all body types. The vest is knit in one piece to the armholes so there will be minimal finishing techniques required. Skill level is experienced beginner and beyond. $20.00 for this 4 hour class. Follow up class will be offered at a later date.
2/25/06 9a-1p	Felted Clogs	Fast and easy felt clog slippers. These are designed to create a very thick, firm fabric when felted and feature a double sole for extra comfort and wear. Pattern required. $20.00 for this 4 hour class.
