MARCH 2008 SCHEDULE

Saturday Classes:

3/01/08

All Things Easter
10A-?

Easter comes early this year so we will be ''hopping'' with many projects to choose from. Knit an adorable stuffed Easter Bunny ,bunny ears to attach to your favorite hat pattern, an Easter Egg which may then be felted--or not [maybe even add needle felting],and even patterns for Easter baskets will be available. Class length will depend on your chosen project[s].

3/08/08

Afghans
10a-12noon

See January's class schedule for a description of this class. Newcomers are welcomed.

3/15/08

Log Cabin Scarf
9a-1p

This will be our Block of the Month offering. This is a half square log cabin with alternating corner squares [much, much easier than it sounds]. I'm not completely sure, but I think that I'm the originator of the alternating corner square technique!!!!

3/22/08

Cell Phone Case
10a-1p

June Davis will be teaching the Magic Loop technique for this class. This is a wonderful technique that uses one long circular needle to knit in the round, thus avoiding the need for double pointed needles. This is an ideal introduction to future projects such as knitting socks, finishing the decreasing crown of a hat, etc.

3/29/08 Yarn Dyeing
9a-12noon

Handpaint your own wool using a variety of colors or use a solid color with varying hues. This is always a fun and popular class! YOU will be responsible for winding and pre-soaking your yarn hanks PRIOR to class date. Dyeing cost will be $3.00 per skein [4 ounce or less].Wear old clothes. Class size will be limited
