APRIL 2008 SCHEDULE

Saturday Classes:

4/05/08

Log Cabin Scarf
9A-12noon

This is a follow up class to the Block of the Month from March. Newcomers welcome. This is a half square log cabin with alternating corner squares. Great fun.

4/12/08

Dropped Stitch Shawl
9a-11a

This shawl has a big WOW factor. Our first class will be for size determination and yarn selection as well as initial instructions. A second class 5/17 is mandatory for completion techniques and today's class fee will cover both classes [total 5 hours]. Our class shawl was made using soy silk yarn [made from tofu!] and is a perfect yarn for this shawl.

4/19/08

Socks
10a-1p

There is still a huge interest in sock making. Lisa Smakula  will teach us how to make socks from  the top down. Choose from fingering weight to worsted weight yarns in your favorite colors. Two 3 hour follow up classes are needed to learn the various aspects of sock making and today's class fee will cover all three classes. Socks are a wonderful portable project.

4/26/08

Entrelac Scarf
9a-1p

A scarf is a great way to learn this intriguing technique. When finished, this pattern looks like the color strips are woven through each other. It has endless creative options~a baby blanket, a christening shawl, a  crib cover or a graceful shawl. I already have the yarn picked to make a summer shawl for myself...just can't decide on the color.

CLASS FEE IS $5.00 PER HOUR.
CLASS FEE FOR SATURDAY CLASSES IS $10.00 PER HOUR IF PROJECT YARN
WAS NOT PURCHASED FROM YARN AND COMPANY.

Private or group classes are available and encouraged. Call and we'll do our best to accommodate your wishes.
