We will begin Friday at 7pm with a “Meet and Greet” activity, refreshments, and much laughter. Earn “Mad Money" to purchase knitting goodies or to buy the kit[s] for the Saturday class “Pick a Project”.

~1-2-3 Vest/Shawl Designed especially for this event, this rectangular shawl will resemble a vest when viewed from the front. See the photos above or visit the shop to see these items in person.
Three samples will be available at the retreat to assist you with the following steps:
#1-Measure: decide your preference for width and length.
#2-Choose your style: straight garter stitch? seed stitch border? cables? pockets?
#3-Obtain your stitch gauge: calculate your cast on number....start knitting !!
~Pick a Project: A variety of kits [includes all needed yarn and pattern] may be purchased or use your “Mad Money” earned on Friday night to buy the kit[s] of your choosing. Kit examples include but are not limited to; lace-knit soap holder, felted bracelet, several styles of cowls, double thickness headband, cabled ski head band, a selection of hats and scarves. Finished samples of all kit items will be available for your viewing in order to assist and simply your selection[s].

Let’s Make Buttons.
Polymer clay buttons and/or beads are used for a variety of knitting projects and can be a great way to get your creative juices flowing......make it small or make it large, make one or make several, make it colorful or make it plain. We will provide all materials.

Sunday’s Secret.
Simply bring a tapestry needle and your knitting needle for this surprise project and the rest of the supplies will be provided by Yarn and Company.
A class supply list will be sent after you have registered for this retreat with Yarn and Company

~"Count Your Lucky Balls"-count the yarn balls for a chance to win a Swedish massage. Drawing will be held after lunch on Saturday for a 2pm appointment.
~There will be A “Chinese Auction” throughout the weekend with the drawing held on Sunday.
~If you want to start something new, knitting kits and accessories will be displayed and will be available for purchase as well as an offering of sale items provided by Yarn & Company.
